Dear followers, Happy New Year!

I hope you had amazing celebrations and I wish each one of you will become the person you want to be, reach your goals and pursue all the dreams you have. I certainly made some important resolutions for myself (train more in the gym, blog, finally launch my magazine about culture, get MA degree with distinction, have a dream job in London), so I want you to keep your fingers crossed for me too :)

Я определенно написала себе план на этот год - ходить регулярно в спортзал, больше писать для блога, наконец-то официально выпустить свой журнал о культуре, получить диплом Магистра с отличием, и найти работу мечты в Лондоне. We will probably eat a lot of delicious food, drink mulled wine and watch some movies. I will certainly share some pictures with you after. Дорогие мои читатели, с Рождеством Вас и с Наступающим Новым Годом! Моя семья и мч сейчас не в Лондоне, но я собираюсь справить Рождество дома у своей подруги Джессики. Мы скорее всего будем весь день есть всякие вкусности, пить горячее вино со специями и смотреть фильмы. Я обязательно поделюсь с вами фотографиями после.

Лондон просто невероятно красивый город, но особенно он преображается во время Рождества. Везде стоят огромные елки, различные декорации, новогодние огоньки... Конечно же, я не устояла и сфотографировала самые лучшие праздничные витрины города. Особенно захватывают дух гигантские люксовые товары на витринах торгового центра (слово универмаг звучит ну очень СССР-ски :)) Selfridges. А, какие вам понравились? NEW YEAR'S EVE LOOK & MY GIFTS

Hey beautiful people!

I am sorry for not being here for a while; I have been buried in work since the beginning of the year. But now I am full of enthusiasm (and finally have a time) to share so many things with you. This blog and you, my readers, already became very important for me and I will try my best in 2012 :)

In this post I wanted to show you my New Year’s Eve look and few shots from the night. I wore gorgeous sequin Zara dress from their Christmas Collection paired with my favorite heels bought in London. The dress is very unique, when you flip over the dark blue sequins, you can see that they’re bright turquoise on the other side, so it allows to play a bit with the pattern. Outdoor pictures were taken in front of the every fashionista’s dream store – Emporium (you might have seen the pictures from the opening of this huge multi brand store on Andy’s Stylescrapbook). I just had to take a picture with these adorable Christmas decorative balls! You can notice that I opt for slighty different make up and nail colour for the outdoor photoshoot than for actual NY party. Do you think burgundy lips look good on me?

At the end you can also see all my NY/Christmas presents. My favorite one is Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boots that I fell in love with as so many bloggers did. Can’t wait to wear them!

Простите, что не обновляла блог некоторое время - я была загружена работой в первые же дни нового года. Но, сейчас я полна энтузиазма (и наконец-то у меня есть время!), чтобы поделиться с вами новыми look'ами, фотоотчетами и неожиданными сюрпризами. Этот блог и вы, мои дорогие читатели, уже стали очень важны для меня и я приложу все усилия, чтобы 2012 год стал для нас интересным и захватывающим :)

BAKU STORES CHRISTMAS WINDOW DISPLAYS

Merry Christmas to all my wonderful readers! 

I hope each of you got from Santa very special surprises and loads of smiles :)

Here in Baku we don’t really celebrate Christmas and leave all magical experience of unwrapping gifts, having family meals and partying with friends to New Year’s Eve. But last year I have spent Christmas in the UK and fell in love with the atmosphere. So today I was really sad, because instead of celebrating I had to work all day long. Oh well… while I am in a waiting mode for December 31 when I finally will open my presents, I want you to enjoy the pictures I have taken late night in Baku. It’s a festive holiday window displays! Of course it’s not Bergdorf Goodman’s masterpieces, but they’re still beautiful. Also you can spot me wearing casual and comfy outfit for Christmas/New Year shopping day. Sometimes the view is not from heels ;)

P.S. Tell me what you have found under your Christmas tree? I am really curious :P

Мои любимые читатели, с Рождеством Вас! Я надеюсь, Санта преподнес вам  немало сюрпризов и одарил волшебным настроением. Если же вы, как и я, ждете 31 декабря, чтобы развернуть свои подарки, то я уверена, что вы полностью поймете мое состояние сейчас :) В прошлом году я провела Christmas в Англии и влюбилась в эту сказочную атмосферу, так что сегодня мне было немного грустно садиться за работу, когда мои друзья из Европы и любимые блоггеры вовсю праздновали. Но, пока мы находимся в статусе ожидания Нового Года, я хочу порадовать вас фотографиями, которые я сняла поздно ночью на улицах Баку. Это специально украшенные новогодние витрины! Конечно это не шедевральные витрины Bergdorf Goodman’s, но они все равно чудесные. Так же в этом посту вы увидите меня в простом, комфортном outfit'е, который я надела для предновогоднего шопинга. Так, что несмотря на название моего блога, вид мне открывается не только с каблуков ;)
