BEAUTIFUL WEDDINGS: AZERBAIJAN BRIDES

What’s the point of being an editor of the Wedding Magazine and not sharing beautiful pictures of our brides on my blog? Wedding in Azerbaijan is very special and marvelous event and sometimes it can easily upstage any of those Red Carpets with its number of stunning from head to toe women, designer dresses, luxurious beverages and amount of money spent. So I decided to create this new “rubric” and from time to time show you my favorite couples, the prettiest brides and gorgeous weddings that were featured in our magazine. Do you think it’s a good idea? :)

Как можно быть редактором свадебного журнала Wedding и не делиться красивыми фотографиями наших невест у себя на блоге? Свадьба в Азербайджане – это особое великолепное торжество, частенько затмевающее любую Голливудскую вечеринку по количеству совершенных красавиц, дизайнерских творений, изысканных блюд и бюджета, потраченного на мероприятие. Поэтому я решила создать эту «рубрику» и время от времени показывать вам мои любимые пары, самых красивых невест и роскошные свадьбы, которые были опубликованы на страницах нашего журнала. Думаете это хорошая идея? :)

POSING IN JEFFREY CAMPBELL BOOTS

I am so happy with my new Jeffrey Campbell boots! They’re the most comfortable heels I have ever had. On these pictures you can spot me running, jumping, making famous Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean pose on this huge massive looking Litas. I wore them with studded black dress, over the knee high socks (I simply adore how they can alter every look and make me feel more sexy) and gold accessories. By the way do you notice how purse perfectly matches the boots? This La Bagagerie bag has been hidden in the depths of my wardrobe since I bought it about 2 years ago aux Galeries Lafayette. What an hour of triumph! ;)

Я так счастлива, что в моем доме поселились ботинки от Jeffrey Campbell! :) Несмотря на невероятный размер каблука, это самая удобная обувь в моей жизни. На этих фотографиях вы можете увидеть, как я бегаю, прыгаю и стою в знаменитой Billy Jean позе Майкла Джексона на громоздких Litas. 

Я надела их с черным платьем с золотыми заклепками, высокими гольфами (они мгновенно преображают любой look и делают вас более заметными) и золотыми аксессуарами. Кстати, вы заметили, как сумочка идеально подходит к ботинкам? Это моя давняя находка от La Bagagerie, купленная 2 года назад в Galeries Lafayette, в Париже, и с тех пор лежащая в глубинах моего гардероба. Но, сейчас она переживает настоящий звездный час! ;)

RUBELLI FASHION SHOW

Sometime ago I have attended IDEA store to see Rubelli fashion show and to be a part of the event called “Snaidero Cuisine”. The models showed dresses in the Venetian style made of fabrics from the famous Italian brand Rubelli. The atmosphere at the store was very friendly and all the guests felt really comfortable surrounded by beautiful furniture, luxurious decor items and enjoyed life opera performance by Anna Reshetnyak and cooking show from Italian chef – the owner of 2 Michelin stars – Vinicio Dover.

 For the event I decided to wear white blazer with simple skinny jeans and add some nude and gold details. Also it was the first time I wore my new Michael Kors bag (btw I bought it at Michael Kors boutique in Dubai Mall and I was a bit upset afterwards when I found out that it’s  cheaper to order it straight from USA. Anyway the bag totally worse it!)

Не так давно я посетила «Вечер Кухни Snaiderо» в мебельном салоне IDEA. Все началось с показа мод от Rubelli. Модели, грациозно ступали по подиуму, демонстрируя платья в Венецианском стиле, созданных из тканей от известного итальянского бренда Rubelli.  Атмосфера в салоне была теплой и дружелюбной, и все гости чувствовали себя очень уютно, окруженные красивой мебелью, люксовыми предметами декора, и остались в восторге от живого исполнения оперы Анной Решетняк. 

Другим великолепным сюрпризом стало кулинарное шоу от итальянского повара, обладателя двух Мишленовских звезд – Виничо Довьера.

На этот  event я решила надеть белый пиджак с простыми джинсами скинни и добавить детали в бежевых и золотых тонах. В тот день я впервые "вывела в свет" свою новую сумку от Michael Kors (кстати, я ее купила в бутике Michael Kors в Dubai Mall, но позже я узнала, что было бы дешевле заказать сумку прямо с США :( Но, все равно я довольна!)

 As you know each month I write text and design pages about fashion for AZ magazine (the most popular magazine in English in Azerbaijan). Me and the new editor of the magazine Liz decided that it would be great not only highlight looks from runway and celebrities, but also show how girls use trends in real life. Therefore I am announcing this contest ;) 
The rules are simple:

1. Follow on bloglovin

2. Send me clear, high qualified picture with resolution no less 
than 900 X 1050 of yourself wearing one of the trends. 
The TRENDS for the next issue are: 
a) Bright, colourful outerwear (coats, fur, ponchos etc.)

b) And the second spread will be dedicated to your favorite purses. Send an image where you wear your most loved bag or send us a photo of the one you dream about and tell us few words why you want it so much.

BALMAIN BELT LOOK

For such a long time I was seeking for super popular Moschino belt with gold letters. I couldn’t find my size at the official page and it was out of stock at Bloomingdales and Moschino store in Dubai (I still have to share my pictures from that trip). But when I saw this Balmain belt in men’s collection, I immediately fell in love with it. Not a bad alternative at all! ;)

Я очень долго грезила о знаменитом ремне Moschino с золотыми буквами, но на официальном сайте я не могла поймать свой размер, а в Bloomingdales и в бутике Moschino в Дубае (я все еще должна показать вам обещанные фотографии с последней поездки), он уже был раскуплен. Но, когда я увидела этот ремень Balmain из мужской коллекции, я моментально в него влюбилась! Я нашла неплохую альтернативу, не правда ли? ;)

NEW YEAR'S EVE LOOK & MY GIFTS

Hey beautiful people!

I am sorry for not being here for a while; I have been buried in work since the beginning of the year. But now I am full of enthusiasm (and finally have a time) to share so many things with you. This blog and you, my readers, already became very important for me and I will try my best in 2012 :)

In this post I wanted to show you my New Year’s Eve look and few shots from the night. I wore gorgeous sequin Zara dress from their Christmas Collection paired with my favorite heels bought in London. The dress is very unique, when you flip over the dark blue sequins, you can see that they’re bright turquoise on the other side, so it allows to play a bit with the pattern. Outdoor pictures were taken in front of the every fashionista’s dream store – Emporium (you might have seen the pictures from the opening of this huge multi brand store on Andy’s Stylescrapbook). I just had to take a picture with these adorable Christmas decorative balls! You can notice that I opt for slighty different make up and nail colour for the outdoor photoshoot than for actual NY party. Do you think burgundy lips look good on me?

At the end you can also see all my NY/Christmas presents. My favorite one is Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boots that I fell in love with as so many bloggers did. Can’t wait to wear them!

Простите, что не обновляла блог некоторое время - я была загружена работой в первые же дни нового года. Но, сейчас я полна энтузиазма (и наконец-то у меня есть время!), чтобы поделиться с вами новыми look'ами, фотоотчетами и неожиданными сюрпризами.
